The Fattal Hotel chain, which is controlled by David Fattal, is negotiating to purchase the Tal Hotel in Tel Aviv for NIS 180 million, "Calcalist" found out.The oldest hotel, at 287 Hayarkon Street, is 10 stories high and 123 rooms and is mostly owned by a resident of England as well as contractor Milo Rosenberg. In 2017, it was renovated with a NIS 75 million investment and opened to visitors after about two years of renovation work. In the hotel acquisition, other factors in the industry, such as Isrotel, were interested, but negotiations continued with Fattal, which offered the highest value.
The chain appears to be in a rage: just last month, Fattal bought the historic Palatine Hotel in Tel Aviv, at the corner of Ahad Ha'am and Nahalat Benjamin, and will renovate it for NIS 150 million; and last week it reported that it has bought hotels in Portugal, England, Romania and Hungary for 98 million euros .
Fattal currently owns 10 hotels in Tel Aviv, and two more are expected to open in Dizengoff Square in the former Reception Center and Beit Bachar Building. The chain has 49 hotels in Israel and 176 hotels in Europe. In total, the company has 43,000 hotel rooms in 225 houses. Hotel (including establishment hotels) in 20 countries.
Fattal is also expanding its operations in the field of work spaces; Acquired and leased land under the ROOMS brand under the management of Nadav Fattal.
